MEZCAL_-27.jpg

Our Partnership

Catedral Mezcal was built to honor the people behind it - starting with the families who bring it to life. A portion of the U.S. brand has been pledged to a nonprofit organization titled “Catedral de mi Padre Community Support Organization”. The mandate of the fund is for the betterment of the families making Catedral Mezcal in Oaxaca. The process has been structured so that the maestros receive equity based on their individual contributions of mezcal to the brand, creating a model rooted in shared success, respect, and long-term partnership.

That same commitment to connection and transparency carries through in everything we do. Scan the QR code on any bottle to meet the maestros themselves through intimate black-and-white videos, and explore the full story behind each batch - from fermentation to distillation. It’s our way of honoring the process, the people, and the beauty behind every pour.

As we grow, so does our responsibility. We have planted more than 30 acres of wild agave in Oaxaca and are working toward becoming 100% sustainable by 2028. It’s imperative to us that we work together to protect the land, preserve biodiversity, and help ensure a resilient future for mezcal.

Through thoughtful partnerships and ongoing sustainability efforts, we remain committed to supporting the local communities we work alongside - fostering opportunity, honoring tradition, and sharing the spirit of mezcal with integrity and intention.
